I’m a Goldwell Master Colorist, Certified in multiple extension methods, creator of the Hairplay Luxe Extension Method, Some of my favorite classes i’ve taken are Tabitha Duenas, Pretty Little Ombre, Lo Wheeler Davis, Val from Salt Strands, Marissa Sue, Elizabeth Faye, Rachel Paige, I literally could go on for days.

How would you describe your styling approach or signature technique? Consistent, and Efficient, and I swear I can read your mind.

What do you do outside of the salon to stay inspired or creative? I travel any second that I can. It's a huge part of self care for me, and keeps me excited to work behind the chair.

How long have you been a hairstylist, and what inspired you to get into this industry? I’ve been doing hair for about 2 ½ years now. Before that, I worked as a receptionist at a salon, and just from watching the stylists and seeing the work that went on behind the scenes inspired me to go to hair school.

What made you want to become a hairstylist, and how did you end up at Hairplay Salon? -I’m not really sure what made me want to be a hairstylist. I just knew I loved it and I knew it was something that was part of my journey. I ended up at hairplay from Baylee Reid. She was my stylist at hairplay for a few years and she helped me get my foot in the door as a receptionist to an apprentice at hairplay!
What’s the most exciting thing you’ve learned so far in your apprenticeship? -everybody starts somewhere. Don’t expect yourself to be good at something the first time you try it.
What’s one skill you’re most excited to master as a stylist?
COLOR THEORY!

What made you want to become a hairstylist, and how did you end up at Hairplay Salon? I’ve wanted to be a hairstylist for as long as I can remember, I’ve always loved coloring and styling hair as soon as I was even old enough to get my own curling iron and use it myself :) I ended up at Hairplay because faith was doing my hair and mentioned something to me about working there, I will forever be very thankful for that.
What’s the most exciting thing you’ve learned so far in your apprenticeship? The fact that you really can do anything or specialize in anything that you put your mind to, the possibilities are endless with this as a career.
What’s one skill you’re most excited to master as a stylist? I’m very excited to master extensions, I’ve always had extensions and they make me like my hair way more than without, so I’m excited to make people feel the same way.
Who or what inspires you as a hairstylist? Hannah and Faith hands down, it’s so inspiring learning from the both of you guys every single day, I hope to have the knowledge about hair that you guys have one day.
What type of services or techniques are you most interested in learning? I’m most interested in learning extensions and anything that has to do with blondes.
What’s one piece of advice you’ve received that’s stuck with you so far? One thing that’s always stuck with me is to never doubt yourself as a hairstylist, it’s hard to even practice doing hair when you’re not confident with yourself or your own judgement.
How would you describe your personal style or vibe as a future stylist? I really like trendy and neutral things, also anything cheetah print!
What’s your dream hair transformation to create one day? my dream transformation to create would probably be giving someone their dream blonde along with some extensions!

What do you want clients to feel when they’re in your chair one day? I want them to feel comfortable and never nervous that their hair isn’t going to turn out the way they’re wanting it to.

I hope to one day have enough knowledge in hair to teach girls that are also interested in doing hair.

all of the girls hands down! They’re all so amazing at hair but also such supportive friends and mentors.
If you could learn any hair trend from the past, what would it be? probably the era of chunky highlights that are nearly white with black hair, I’ve never been a fan of it but have always been intrigued by it and how really blonde hair is that achievable on dark hair
What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you? That I was homeschooled all through high school and graduated when I was 16!
